3 Home Runs for Olson Friday, May 9th, 2025 Keith Olson ripped three home runs today against Bishop Amat HS. It was a terrific day for him, but a bad day at the ballpark for the H.H. Dow HS Chargers, who dropped a 23-19 decision. For the day he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters, "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good. I always have liked to hit here at Ballpark of Novato HS." "He was instant offense today," the H.H. Dow HS skipper said. "Keith really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." Keith Olson walked in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bryan Vaughan in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off John Nelson in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Carlos López in the 9th. So far this year Olson is hitting .273 with 5 home runs. |
