Hit Streak Now at 35 for Wilson Thursday, May 8th, 2025 The red-hot hitting Ben Wilson is riding high with a 35-consecutive-game hitting streak and is drawing a lot of attention at the ballpark and in the press. The 16-year-old Mountain Pointe HS center fielder continued the streak today at Trawlers Ballpark with 2 hits in 5 at-bats as the Mountain Pointe HS got the best of the Randall HS Raiders 6-3. "It's great," one of his teammates said. "To be able to hit behind him and watch him, it's been fun. It's been fun and exciting to watch. Not only fans in Mountain Pointe HS, but baseball fans everywhere appreciate what is going on right now, and it has everyone on the edge of their seats wondering what he is going to do." Ben Wilson flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This season Wilson is batting .441 with 4 home runs. |
