33-Game Hitting Streak for Jones Monday, April 21st, 2025 "Things went well for me today. I got 2 hits and the streak is up to 33 games. But we didn't win the game. As you all know, baseball is not about personal accomplishments, its about winning." Those words were spoken by Jim Jones of the Spanish Fork HS to BNN after his club dropped a 15-5 decision to Randall HS. Jim Jones walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Gene Johnston in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Jones is hitting .373 in 2025 with 30 RBIs and 7 home runs. |
