Hat Trick of Home Runs for Giles Saturday, April 12th, 2025 Danny Giles penned his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against Mountain Pointe HS. He's now among the select sluggers who have hit three home runs in a game. In his record-setting day at Chaos Ballpark the Indianapolis HS first baseman went 4-for-4 with 4 RBIs and scored 4 times in the 12-4 victory over the Mountain Pointe HS. "It was just one of those days," he said in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." "Giles was locked in," the Mountain Pointe HS skipper said. "We made some pretty good pitches. Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's pretty hot right now. You've just got to tip your hat." Danny Giles hit a solo-shot off Pedro Rodríguez in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Pedro Rodríguez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Carl Brady in the 6th and tripled in the 7th. |
