5-for-6 Day for Kimball Saturday, April 5th, 2025 If just anyone could go out and hit a baseball, big dollar contracts wouldn't exist. But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. Max Kimball showed how it's done as he went 5 for 6 against the Otsego HS Bulldogs and helped the Bishop Gorman HS beat them 19-7. The manager for the Bulldogs told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Kimball keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Max Kimball hit a solo-shot off José Padilla in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Kimball is batting .375 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. In 5 games he has scored 7 times. |
