No Playoff Berth Coming for Pittsburgh Friday, May 23rd, 2025 The Pittsburgh Panthers players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention. "We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Henry Edwards. "We don't want to have this feeling next season." Pittsburgh last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 18-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Panthers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
