2025 Premier Player Selected By PIO Friday, October 31st, 2025 Ron Edwards of the Jasper Cougars proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Pioneer League Outstanding Hitter Award. Edwards hit for a .356 average while collecting 171 hits, 53 doubles, 4 triples, 15 home runs, 78 RBIs and scoring 91 times. Enrique Mendoza of the Seattle Rainiers finished second in voting, while Nelson Béltre of the Seattle Rainiers finished third. |
