APL Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, May 19th, 2025 Pitchers who faced the Beaverton Bronze Souls last week were happy to see Jaime Rodríguez in the rear view mirror. The 22-year-old catcher was dubbed the Appalachian League Player of the Week for a 4-game tear that saw him hit at a .643 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Rodríguez is batting .254 with 4 home runs. He has scored 18 runs and driven in 20. |
