5-Hit Barrage by Cochran Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 At Miller Park Stephen Cochran of the Wilmington Rebels put on a hitting clinic today against Rio Grande. He banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and mauled Rattlesnake pitching, but came up short in the win department. In spite of his standout 5-hit performance, the Rattlesnake captured the game by the score of 22-6. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," were his words in the postgame interview. Stephen Cochran doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Cochran has hit at a .305 clip with 25 RBIs, 2 home runs and 14 runs scored. |
