Renterķa's 21-Game Hitting Streak Ends Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 Springfield brought Javier Renterķa's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 9-6 victory over Rio Grande at Winter Island Park. The Simpsons mound staff snapped the 20-year-old center fielder's hitting streak at 21 games. Renterķa failed to get a hit in 1 at-bat to end it.
