ESL's Star Player Named Monday, August 4th, 2025 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Eastern League. The award went to Germano Labrego, first baseman of the Reading Rainbows. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .360 average to win the honor. Labrego went 9-for-25 for the week, totaled 4 home runs and 16 RBIs and scored 6 times. To date, Labrego has collected 24 hits for a .296 average. He has posted 11 home runs, scored 22 runs and driven in 31 runs. |
