Montés Belts 5 Hits Monday, May 12th, 2025 Bernardo Montés really sizzled at the plate in today's 13-9 win over Blues. The West Virginia right fielder blistered Memphis for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Montés was too tough to get out today," the Blues skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Bernardo Montés singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the year Montés is batting .319 with 1 home run. |
