Week's Best Player Honored by SNL Monday, September 22nd, 2025 It was some kind of week for Yujiro Kurihara of the Montgomery Biscuits. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .458 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Southern League. Last week Kurihara went 11-for-24, chalked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Kurihara is hitting .314 this season with 13 home runs, 83 RBIs and 118 runs scored. He has 178 hits in 566 at-bats. |
