5-Hit Barrage by Kurihara Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 At Park of Memphis Yujiro Kurihara was the King of Swing today in the 8-3 win over the Blues. The Montgomery first baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Memphis and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Yujiro Kurihara hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the year Kurihara is batting .313 with 173 hits and 12 home runs. He has scored 114 times and driven in 78. |
