Wranglers Watkins Named SNL's #1 Player Monday, September 1st, 2025 All week long nobody could get Ed Watkins out in the Southern League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Wichita third baseman took home the trophy by blasting 9 hits in 24 at-bats for a .375 batting average, driving in 6 runs and scoring 8 times. So far this season Watkins has put up a .281 batting average with 141 hits, 25 home runs and 85 RBIs. |
