Lansing Captures Pacific Coast League Central Crown Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 Juan Barrera called it "one of the best parts of being a pro ballplayer." The Lansing Lugnuts starting pitcher was referring to winning a division title, as his club has just captured the Pacific Coast League Central crown. "There's not many better feelings than winning a tight pennant race," he said. "We worked hard for it all year, have our record at 103-60 right now and feel we're in good shape for the postseason." It was the 14th time the Lugnuts have won the division. It may be a high for Barrera and his teammates, but there is certainly one better feeling he's now hoping for. "Winning the PCL Championship," he said. "Nothing would top that." |
