Kelley Goes on Rampage Against Hammertime Sunday, September 14th, 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Clyde Kelley -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at TooLegit and paced the Trappers to a 7-2 win over the Houston Hammertime. After his dynamite batting performance the Spokane second baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Clyde Kelley doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jacob Miller in the 9th. In 123 games Kelley is hitting .267 this season with 111 hits, 6 home runs, 52 RBIs, 41 walks, .336 OBP and has scored 55 runs. |
