Meyer Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Friday, August 29th, 2025 Tom Meyer ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Redwood Park, when he collected 1 hit in 5 at-bats. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Redwood City was beaten 5-3 by the Mexico City Cerveceros. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Tom Meyer flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
