Camacho Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 Fernando Camacho exploded for a barrage of base hits today at The Quarantine. The Houston first baseman had a field day in the 12-1 triumph over the District 9 Prawns, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Camacho must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Fernando Camacho singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 8th. This year Camacho is batting .350 with 92 hits and 15 home runs. He has scored 58 times and has batted in 65 runs. |
