Great Stroke: Walker Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 It was a parade of hits for Danny Walker of the Indiana Hounds... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Hounds to a 24-5 victory. "Walker was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Timber Rattlers manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Danny Walker singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Michael Wright in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. This year Walker is hitting .278 with 52 hits, 6 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 37 runs. |
