Outstanding Pitcher Award Presented to Blueville Star Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 The Blueville clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Lorenzo Sánchez will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2025 International League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Sánchez made 30 starts this year, winning 16 and losing 2. He threw 181.2 innings, fanned 173, allowed 181 hits and 62 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .262 average as he logged an impressive 2.87 ERA. Darrell Harding of the Otsego Bulldogs finished second in voting, while Ken Gary of the Birmingham Barons finished third. |
