Waters Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, August 4th, 2025 Barrett Waters of the Richmond Flairs just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting center fielder went 3-for-4 in his team's 2-1 victory over the Cape Cod Clams at Pratt & Whitney Field and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Clams pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway." When asked about his performance, Waters said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win." Barrett Waters struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. This season Waters has delivered 85 hits in 210 at-bats for a .405 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .424 clip and his totals also include 41 RBIs and 30 runs scored. This year Waters has played in 50 games. |
