Dorney Blisters Otsego Saturday, July 12th, 2025 It was high-5 day at East End Park, at least for Jeff Dorney of the Portland Privateers. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Otsego Bulldogs. Dorney smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 25-9 win. His manager said, "Jeff was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Jeff Dorney was hit by a pitch in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. In 2025 Dorney has hit at a .290 clip with 87 hits, 4 home runs, 32 RBIs and has scored 48 times. |
