Tropics Buried - Out of Playoffs Friday, September 12th, 2025 After a tough year, the Maui Tropics have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Maui area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now - the club is officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Tropics have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 18 years as a Baseball Stars Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2019. In the last 10 seasons, the Tropics have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
