Dodd Booms 400th Homer Friday, August 22nd, 2025 Jersey Shore's 6-1 victory over Austin was highlighted by Dave Dodd's 400th career home run. His teammates congratulated him at home plate after he circled the bases. "I didn't see all of them out there," Dodd said with a chuckle, "until I rounded third base." He added sheepishly: "It was only a home run. It's not like I won us a World Series!" In 4 at-bats the D-Bags right fielder collected 2 hits in his historic game, scored 1 run, and had 2 runs batted in. In his career Dodd has hit .313 with 1816 hits, 400 home runs, 1210 RBIs and scored 1070 runs. |
