Irvine-Kalamazoo Announce Deal Thursday, July 31st, 2025 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Irvine Gang Green and the Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese. As part of the deal, the Gang Green swapped $3,000,000 in cash to the Royale with Cheese getting 30-year-old LHP Yu-shu Kong in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. For the season Kong is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 3.12 ERA. He has given up 14 hits in 17.1 innings with 14 strikeouts. |
