Torres on a Hot Streak, NL Player of the Week Monday, June 23rd, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National League, but last week Luis Antonio Torres of the Maui Tropics reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Torres rocked opposing pitching for a .464 average (13-for-28), 3 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. In the 2025 season Torres is hitting .269 with 10 home runs. |
