Vázquez Sensational, 5-for-5 Thursday, June 20th, 2024 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Nashua's Marcos Vázquez had a very special day against the Kingfish when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Nashua Redlegs to a 10-4 win at Ballpark of Huntington Beach. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Vázquez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Marcos Vázquez hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Alberto Pagán in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. In his 2024 season totals, Vázquez has 13 home runs, .266 BA, .359 OBP, 53 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
