Friday, July 26th, 2024
Willie Alexander of the Wisconsin Rapids Rangers was injured in today's game against Minnesota and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is radial nerve compression and he is expected to be out for up to 9 months. It happened while Alexander was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."

So far this season, Alexander has a 5-5 won-lost record with 2 saves. He has made 50 relief appearances, logged 85 innings and fanned 105 batters while fashioning a 4.13 ERA and allowing the opposition a .225 batting average.
