Super Week for Erie's Alou! Monday, August 26th, 2024 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Luis Alou of Erie last week. The left fielder had quite a 6-game stretch and today he was named the Midwest League Player of the Week. Alou delivered 10 hits in 23 at-bats to hit .435 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. So far this season Alou is hitting .275 with 14 home runs, 87 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has 136 hits in 495 at-bats and a .367 OBP. |
