Tom Long Suffers Injury Sunday, August 18th, 2024 Wichita Wranglers reliever Tom Long suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a recent game with the BlackIron Dragons and will miss 12-13 months. Long told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." For the year, Long has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also rung up 178 strikeouts and 91 walks in 141.2 innings while registering a 5.34 ERA and a 9-10 won-lost mark. |
