McKinney Sizzles -- Smokes Diablos for 5 Hits Sunday, August 11th, 2024 25-year-old Salem right fielder Jeff McKinney had a big day with the bat at Pecan Pit today against the Santa Fe Diablos. He went 5-for-6 and led the Silver Souls to a 7-5 triumph over them. Jeff McKinney singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 11th. McKinney is hitting .278 so far this season with 22 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 68 hits including 4 home runs, 42 walks and .385 OBP. |
