2024 Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Announced Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 Enrique Valdés of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 17-6 won-lost mark and 2.51 ERA were big factors in his winning the 2024 Southern League Outstanding Pitcher Award. In 190.1 innings of work and 32 starts, Valdés struck out 183 while giving up 147 hits and 78 walks. He held opposing batters to a .214 average. Manuel Fuentes of the Salem Silver Souls finished second in voting, while Andy Hickey of the Salem Silver Souls finished third. |
