Doug Starks Out for 14 Months Sunday, September 15th, 2024 Santa Fe Diablos reliever Doug Starks left yesterday's game against the Wichita Wranglers after suffering a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch. Starks was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Starks is expected to miss 14 months. This year Starks has notched 1 save. He has 41 strikeouts and 45 walks in 51 innings while registering a 6.71 ERA and a 3-0 won-lost record. |
