Ducks Starting Pitcher Williams Injured

Tyrone Williams of the Waba Ducks was injured in today's game against Wisconsin and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a sore shoulder and he is expected to be out for up to 4-5 months. It happened while Williams was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."

So far this season, Williams has logged a 4-3 record with a 4.31 ERA. He has started 11 games, hurled 54.1 innings and registered 40 strikeouts and 19 walks.
