Privateers Pitching Ravaged by Olivas Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 At East End Park Felipe Olivas was the King of Swing today in the 12-9 win over the Privateers. The Trenton shortstop stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Portland and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 7! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Felipe Olivas singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 10th, struck out in the 12th and walked in the 13th. This year Olivas is hitting .351, produced 29 RBIs and 0 home runs, scored 33 times and gotten on base at a .444 rate. |
