Terry Raps Waba for 5 Hits Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 It was high-5 day at Duck Pond, at least for Ed Terry of the Amarillo Archdukes. He got a lot of high-5's for his outstanding hitting against the Waba Ducks, but he and his teammates couldn't pull out a win. Terry smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on a his record-setting day, but Amarillo still dropped the game 4-2. His manager said, "Ed was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him. Too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion and get the victory." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN writers, "Terry bushwhacked my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, we won the ballgame." Ed Terry singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. In his season totals, Terry has 4 home runs, .338 BA, .407 OBP, 59 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He has played in 112 games. |
