National League Southern Division Champions Crowned Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 The New Orleans Looters are champions of the National League Southern Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the BSA Championship," said starting pitcher Edward Baker. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in New Orleans." The club's record currently sits at 87-76. It is the team's 4th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 2nd Baseball Stars Association championship. Team manager Lucas Amsel said he'll take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
