Star of the Week Honored in APL Monday, September 4th, 2023 23-year-old Don Ramey made a few Dunedin headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Appalachian League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .429 average. Ramey collected 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 9 runs. So far in 2023 Ramey is batting .325 with 13 home runs, 82 RBIs and 79 runs scored. He has 138 hits in 424 at-bats and a .416 OBP. |
