APL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 24th, 2023 So far in his young career, Chris Parker has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Appalachian League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Dunedin Blue Jays first baseman hit at a torrid .433 clip as he collected 13 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This season Parker is batting .285 with 82 hits, 13 home runs, 49 RBIs, 43 walks, .385 OBP and has scored 58 runs. He has played in 75 games. |
