Star CL López Signs for 3 years Monday, September 4th, 2023 Boston fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. António López won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 3-year extension at a pay rate of $8,000,000 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Boston officials had to keep López from jumping ship. This year López has chalked up 60 relief appearances, worked 69.2 innings, struck out 82 and issued 18 walks. He has 30 saves with a 2.58 ERA and a 5-5 won-lost mark. |
